Christian Care Communities is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk/Receptionist for our Christian Health Center located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Our Mission is to enhance the journey of life for older adults. We are Kentucky's largest faith-inspired, non-profit provider of affordable senior living and long-term care for older adults.

The community offers a quality senior living experience on our lovely 40-acre tree-lined community with an array of garden home styles, apartments, and services including our 116-bed skilled nursing and rehab area.


Title: Accounts Payable Clerk/Receptionist
Shift: Days
Status: Part-Time (20-24 hours per week)
Department: Administration

Requirements for Accounts Payable Clerk/Receptionist:

  • 6 months Customer Service or 6 months Clerical work.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in accounting; working with basic business office equipment

Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Clerk/Receptionist :

  • Receives and greets callers/visitors, provides information, and directs to proper person or area.
  • Gathering invoices by email and mail, coding invoices, batching, and gathering appropriate signatures for processing.
  • Accurately coding invoices and entering into the A/P Software.
  • Personifies outstanding customer service to co-workers, clients, and vendors by acting as a subject matter resource in a timely, considerate, and friendly manner, always maintaining the "Golden Rule" approach; practices patience and kindness.
  • Reconciles bank accounts monthly as directed.
  • Performs other duties as directed by the Administrator and/or Office Manager.
  • Working knowledge of various software programs such as Microsoft Office products including, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
